ENERGY STAR Labeled Products

The new guidelines for the ENERGY STAR qualified home program that went into effect for homes permitted on or after July 1, 2006 require the presence of some ENERGY STAR qualified products and appliances in homes that earn the ENERGY STAR label. ENERGY STAR labeled products can contribute to the energy efficiency of your home and help reduce your energy bills. Talk to your homebuilder about available ENERGY STAR Labeled Products including ENERGY STAR lighting, labeled clothes washer, dishwasher, windows and doors, and HVAC system.

Currently, the following appliances can earn the ENERGY STAR:
  • Clothes Washers
  • Dehumidifiers
  • Dishwashers
  • Refrigerators
  • Freezers
  • Room AC Units
  • Room Air Cleaners
